If you are experiencing "No Signal" on an NEC (i.e. NEC M491), or Sharp Display but you have the correct source selected, you need to configure the correct MODE in the monitor's Input settings.

Scroll to Page 81 (labeled Page 77 at the bottom)
Here's a summary:
1) Go to the Input Menu
2) Press SET
3) Go to the ADVANCED SETTINGS
4) Select MODE1
If MODE1 does not work, select MODE2
